JavaScript Job: Web Developer - Full Time

Working with our team of designers, developers, and account managers, you will help to bring cutting edge sites to life. Focus in Wordpress is important.

Responsibilities

Required Expertise

• Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Ability to take PSD designs and turn them into a fully functional web site
• Ability to create custom themes for a CMS (Drupal or Wordpress)
• Some knowledge of PHP and MySQL
• Comfortable working at the command line
• Experience with source control such as Git (preferred)
• Ability to provide time estimates and work within a deadline

Good to Have

• Experience with jQuery / Ajax
• Working knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and responsive web design
• Experience with Sass/Compass
• Experience writing custom modules for Drupal
• Basic knowledge of Linux web server administration
• Knowledge of any web development framework – Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, Django, etc.
• A few years of proven web development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

This can be a Contract or Staff Position

This role will ideally be filled by a full time staff person with the ability to visit our offices on a regular basis We are open to a partial telecommute, which means being in the office most days of the week, to interface with teammates.
